It wasn’t pretty but Sorrento FC are safely through to the FFA Cup Quarter Finals with a 1-0 victory over Carramar Shamrock Rovers.
The only goal was scored in the first half. A long ball from centre-back David Stokoe fell to Jaxon Temata on the left. He crossed for Tristan Stevens who headed past the Rovers keeper.
Next Saturday, the Gulls are back in action in the NPL against Perth SC at Percy Doyle stadium, where a win will lift the Gulls into 3rd place.
