Round 12: NPL WA from around the Grounds

Perth SC’s lead at the top of the NPL WA was reduced to seven points on the weekend after they were held 0-0 at ECU Joondalup in Round 12.

Floreat Athena replaced Perth Glory in second spot after they smashed their rivals 6-0, while there were also wins for Balcatta, Bayswater City, Cockburn City and Armadale.

The NPL WA takes a break this weekend because of the FFA Cup preliminary semi-finals.

Floreat host Sorrento on Saturday while Bayswater are at home to Rockingham City on Sunday. Both games kick off at 3pm.

Sorrento 18s also feature in the Semi Final of the Belt Up State League Cup, versus Balcatta, kick of at 10.30am.

Both Sorrento FC play their semi-finals at Floreat Athena’s E&D Litis Stadium.
